Great Movies of All Times: A Brief Introduction

Many people have done a similar thing before, but here is Jesus’ own list of great movies of all times, with pictures and descriptions. The list is made up of movies that are milestones, changed the industry in some way, classics, timeless movies, or just personal favourites that I think deserve to be on the list.

When I was creating the list, there were just too many movies that I had to consider to add to it, but in order to keep it somewhat strict and readable, I had to put a limit on which movies to include in the list. For this reason, I decided not to include any sequels or information about trilogies in the list. If I did, the list would eventually be way too long and extensive, especially when it comes to the description of the movies and the movies in the most recent decades. Also, most sequels are not milestones or changed the industry the way the originals did.

Because of the length of the article, I found it best to split it into decades in order to maintain the best readability and overview. In each decade, the movies are listed by year and include a description and picture. You can click on each picture to see a larger, often more extended version of them.

It is likely that I forgot to add a few movies to the list, so it is not hundred percent completed yet, but I will update it whenever needed.
